Sheila Shaughnessy (nee Counihan), 23rd September 2025, Spencer Park, Castlebar, Co. Mayo and late of Listry, Co. Kerry, peacefully in Mayo University Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her husband Michael, brothers John and Eamonn, sisters Hannah, Dora and Sr. Augustine.

Deeply regretted by her loving children Bríghid, Eileen, Eoin and Eamonn, daughters-in-law Siobhán and Tricia, son-in-law Ciarán (McLarnon) and Rupert, grandchildren Bob, Julia, Lara, Moya, Clíodhna, Oscar, Axel and Zak, nephew Brendan, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Sheila will repose in Coady’s Funeral Home, Castlebar, F23 XY63 on Thursday (25th September) from 5.30pm with removal at 7pm to the Church of the Holy Rosary, Castlebar.

Requiem Mass on Friday morning at 11am followed by burial afterwards in Castlebar New Cemetery.
