Sheila (Síle) McCarthy

McCarthy (Castlehaven): On September 2nd, 2025 peacefully in the tender care of the wonderful staff of St. Raphael's Centre, Youghal and in the presence of her heart-broken family, Sheila (Síle), beloved daughter of the late Willie and May McCarthy, Dooneen, Castlehaven, and sister of the late Carmel, and special sister to Trish, Mary, Michael, Paul, Nuala, Eileen, Valerie, Donal, Seán, Bernadette, Claire and Finbarr.

Deeply regretted by her loving family, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, aunts Mary, Eileen and Monica, relatives, kind neighbours and her many friends.

May She Rest In Peace.

Reposing in Shanahans Funeral Home, Leap on Wednesday 3rd September from 6pm to 8pm followed by prayers. Síle's funeral cortége will arrive at St. Barrahanes Church, Castlehaven at 10am on Thursday, 4th September followed by Requiem Mass at 11am. Funeral immediately afterwards to Castlehaven New Cemetery.

The McCarthy family would like to thank the staff of St. Raphael's Centre, Youghal for the exceptional care Síle received while she was in their care.
