SHEILA WHELAN
(née Pomeroy)

Sandymount, Dublin / Cork

WHELAN (née Pomeroy) Sheila (Sandymount, Dublin and late of Cork) 5th August 2024 (peacefully) after a long illness in St. Vincent’s University Hospital. Beloved wife of the late Larry and much loved mother of Andy and Catherine. She will be sadly missed by her family, brothers Tommy and Robin, daughter-in-law Sinéad, grandchildren Amira, Samia, Conor, Eleanor and Emma, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.

 

Rest in Peace

 

Reposing on Monday (12th August) at Fanagans Funeral Home, 19 The Crescent, Monkstown (A94 XK28) from 5pm to 7.00pm. Removal on Tuesday (13th August) to the Church of St. Mary Star of the Sea, Sandymount for Funeral Mass at 10am followed thereafter by burial at Shanganagh Cemetery.
