Shirley  died peacefully in the gentle care of the staff of the Claremount Nursing Home, Predeceased by her husband Martin and her brother Barry. Shirley will be sadly missed by her loving family, Martine, Patrick, Shauna, Barry and Sinéad, sons-in-law Michael, Tim and Martine’s partner Martin, daughters-in-law Mary and Michelle, grandchildren, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Gilligan’s Funeral Home, Market Square, Claremorris on Thursday evening (9th Dec) from 6p.m to 7.30p.m. (Walk through only, no hand shaking please) Remains will arrive for Funeral Mass at 12 noon on Friday (10th Dec) in Church of the Sacred Heart, Crossboyne with burial afterwards in Crossboyne Cemetery.

Funeral Mass will be live streamed on the “Taugheen Community” Facebook page. Due to current Government best practice guidelines, please observe social distancing at all times during the funeral.
