Shirley passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, in the wonderful care of the staff at Áras Chois Fharraige. Predeceased by her parents Jeremiah and Mary Nolan. Much loved wife of Michael and adored mother of Martina, Avril and Yvonne. Deeply mourned and sadly missed by her husband and daughters, brothers Tommy and Gerard, sons-in-law Joe, Dan and Julien, sister-in-law Betty, her adored grandchildren Lisa, Amanda, Laura, Martina, Sarah, James, Lorraine, Ruadhán, Samuel, Camille and Alice, great grandchildren, nieces, nephew, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at St. Anthony's Room within the Church of St. John the Apostle, Knocknacarra, Galway, on Tuesday, 15 August, 2023 from 5.00pm to 6.30pm. Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Shirley at 11.00am on Wednesday, 16 August. After Mass, she will be laid to rest in Rahoon Cemetery.
