SHIRLEY SMITH

The death has occurred of Shirley Ann Smith after a short illness in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Camden New Jersey, in her 51st year.

Shirley is predeceased by her father Brendan Smith.

She is sadly missed by her heartbroken family, mother Marie, brothers Nicholas, Richard and Brendan. Her sister-in-laws Mary, Janine, and Celena. Her nieces and nephews Brendan, Conor, Rebecca, Ben, Avery, Martin and Sean whom she loved and cherished. She will be sadly missed by her Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and friends in Ireland.

Shirley was adored by her wide circle of friends and co-workers in Manasquan New Jersey whom were like her family. New Jersey has been her home for over 25 years where she was a valued community member and contributed to so much.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Wednesday, September 18, 2024 from 4pm – 8pm at Orender Family Home for Funerals, 2643 Old Bridge Road, Manasquan, NJ 08736. A Funeral Mass is to be held on Thursday, September 19, 2024 at 11 am at St. Denis Roman Catholic Church, 90 Union Ave, Manasquan, NJ 08736.

Shirley will take her final journey home to be buried alongside her beloved father in Ballinlough, Kells, Co Meath Ireland.

Funeral Mass on Wednesday 25th September in the Church of the Assumption Ballinlough at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
