SIMON GEARY

GEARY, SIMON (Spittal St., Cloyne and late Irish Distillers, Midleton) on April 25th 2020, peacefully, in the exceptional care of Oaklodge Nursing Home, Churchtown South. Beloved husband of Margaret (née Curran). Lovingly remembered also by his daughters Mary, Eileen, Annemarie and Mairéad. Adored granddad of Rebecca, Kane, Conor and Alex, brother of the late Ellie McSwiney. Sadly missed also by Mary’s partner Gordon Nagle, Mairéad’s partner Pa O’Keeffe, brother in law Neilus, sister in law Geraldine, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and good friends.

While we would love to have everyone with us at this very sad time, in accordance with HSE and Government guidelines regarding restrictions on public gatherings, a private family funeral will take place after which Simon will be laid to rest in St Colman's Cemetery, Cloyne. Those who would have liked to attend the funeral, but due to current restrictions cannot, please use the condolences link on this page. A celebration of Simon’s life will be held with a Memorial Mass in the future.
