Simon Rutledge

Simon Rutledge, Treasure Trove, Bridge Street, Westport & Quay Road, Westport, December 9  2021, peacefully, in the tender care of Mayo Hospice, Castlebar, surrounded by his family, after a short illness.
Formerly of the Department of Defence.  Simon was the beloved husband of Lily and the proud father of Emer.  He will be sadly missed and always remembered by his wife, daughter, son-in-law Johnny,  grandchildren  Anna, Conn and Róisín, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.  Simon was predeceased by his parents William and Molly.

Requiem Mass will be held for Simon on Saturday (December 11) at St. Mary’s Church, Westport at 11am with burial afterwards in Murrisk Cemetery, Westport.
