The death has occurred of
Simon (Simey) Long
Long (Clasheen, Kinsale) on January 14th 2026, peacefully at Cork University Hospital. Simon (Simey) Long, son of the late Dennis and Mary, brother of Pauline, Christine and the late Carmel, nieces and nephews Jacki, Denise, Paul and John, Fiona and Sean, and extended family.
Sadly missed by his family friends and residents at Haven Bay Care Centre and previously at Aperee/Cramers Court.
Requiem Mass on Tuesday at 2pm in St. John the Baptist Church, Kinsale which will be live-streamed on www.churchservices.tv/kinsale after which Simey will be laid to rest in Tissaxon Cemetery.
