The death has occurred of
Simone Scanlon-Buckley
Scanlon – Buckley on December 9th 2022, peacefully in the exceptional care of the doctors, nurses and staff at Cork University Hospital, after a long illness bravely borne; Simone, The Meadows, Hollyhill (formerly of Churchfield Avenue) (late Debenhams). Beloved wife of Daniel, adored mother of Joey, loving daughter of Helena and granddaughter of the late Billy. Sadly missed by her loving husband, son, mother, aunt Mary, uncle Liam, cousins Aaron, Lia and David, father-in-law Anthony, mother-in-law Mary, sisters-in-law Leanne, Laura and Niamh, relatives and friends.
Reposing at O’Connor Bros. Funeral Home, North Gate Bridge from Saturday afternoon. Visitation on Sunday, 11th December, from 2pm to 3pm with prayers at 2.45pm. Requiem Mass on Monday, December 12th, at 11am in the Church of the Ascension, Gurranabraher. Funeral afterwards to St. Catherine’s Cemetery, Kilcully.
