Sinead Anne Raleigh

Sinead A. Raleigh, from Milwaukee, USA and formerly from Newcastle West, Co Limerick, passed away after a long battle with health issues on 30th March 2025 at the age of 52. She was born in Ireland on February 1, 1973 the daughter of Sean and Nora Raleigh and moved to the United States with her family in 1991.

Sinead is survived by her loving partner, Shawn Howe, and her devoted parents, Sean and Nora Raleigh. She leaves behind her cherished sisters: Aoife (Jeremy) Holden, Tara Raleigh, and Clionadh (Sam Barrett) Raleigh, as well as her brother, Sean (Amy) Raleigh. Additionally, she is remembered fondly by family friend Linda Konsella, her nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Sinead's legacy of grace, strength, and connection with others will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know her. The Gaelic translation of her name, meaning "God is Gracious," aptly captures the warmth she brought into the world.

There will be a funeral mass and burial of ashes in Newcastle West at a future date.
