Sinead Anne Raleigh

Sinead A. Raleigh, from Milwaukee, USA and formerly from Newcastle West, Co Limerick, passed away after a long battle with health issues on 30th March 2025 at the age of 52. She was born in Ireland on February 1, 1973 the daughter of Sean and Nora Raleigh and moved to the United States with her family in 1991.​​​

Sinead is survived by her devoted parents, Sean and Nora Raleigh. She leaves behind her cherished sisters: Aoife (Jeremy) Holden, Tara Raleigh, and Clionadh (Sam Barrett) Raleigh, as well as her brother, Sean (Amy) Raleigh. Additionally, she is remembered fondly by her nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Sinead's legacy of grace, strength, and connection with others will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know her. The Gaelic translation of her name, meaning "God is Gracious," aptly captures the warmth she brought into the world.

Reposing at Riedy's Funeral Home on Friday 11th July 2025 from 6pm until 7pm. Funeral mass to celebrate the life of Sinead will take place at The Church Of The Immaculate Conception, Newcastle West on Saturday 12th July 2025 at 11.30am, followed by burial of ashes in Churchtown Cemetery, Newcastle West.
