Siobhán Murphy (née Byrne), Clara Castle, Clara, Co. Kilkenny and formerly of Danesfort, Co. Kilkenny.

 

Peacefully, after a long illness bravely borne surrounded by her loving family at her home on Wednesday, 24th September 2025.

 

Pre-deceased by her parents John and Bridget and her grandson Conor who died in infancy.

 

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her sorrowing family, her husband Jim, her son John, daughter-in-law Elaine, grandchildren Emma and James, her sister Mary, brothers Pat and Liam, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

 

May Siobhán Rest in Peace.

 

Reposing at Johnstons Funeral Home, John’s Green, Kilkenny (Eircode R95 XE00) on Friday, 26th September from 4pm until 8pm pausing for Rosary and Vigil Prayers at 7pm.

 

Funeral arriving to St. Colman’s Church, Clara for Requiem Mass on Saturday, 27th September at 12 noon.

 

Burial will follow afterwards in the adjoining Cemetery.
