Convent of Mercy, Mallow, Macroom and late of Charleville.
Sister Assumpta passed away peacefully in the tender and loving care of the staff of Nazareth House, Mallow on Saturday, September 16th, 2023.
Predeceased by her parents Edmund and Margaret, sister Maisie and brother-in-law Billy.
Sadly missed by her niece Kathleen, nephew-in-law Jimmy, grandniece Mary Theresa Ryan, nephew Michael, niece-in-law Carol, grandnephew William O'Connor, grandniece Melanie, her Mercy Community, staff, relatives and friends.
May Sr. Assumpta's Gentle Soul Rest In Peace
Reposing in the Convent of Mercy Chapel, Mallow on Sunday afternoon (September 17th) from 3:30pm, followed by Evening Prayer at 5:30pm.
Requiem Mass on Monday in the Church of the Resurrection, Mallow at 2pm, after which Sr. Assumpta will be laid to rest in St. Gobnait’s Cemetery.
