The death has occurred of
Sister Gertrude (Elizabeth) Geoghegan
Geoghegan, Sister Gertrude (Elizabeth). March 23rd 2021, unexpectedly but peacefully in the presence of her Religious Community. Late of Evron, Brinnington, Stockport, England and formerly of Ringsend, Dublin, Ireland. Predeceased by her parents James and Euphemia, sisters Pheobe, Deirdre, Kathleen and Delores, brothers Tom, Jim and David and her three nephews. Deeply mourned by her Religious Community of the Sisters of Our Lady of Evron. She will be sadly missed by her brothers John and George, her sisters-in-law Mary (Brown), Mary (Mabbs) and Mary (David Moore), nieces, nephews, cousins and relatives in the extended Geoghegan families along with many friends and the parishioners at Saint Bernadette's Brinnington, Stockport, England.
Sister Gertrude's Requiem Mass will take place on Friday 9th April at 10.30am at St. Bernadette's R C. Church, Stockport, England with interment in Highfield Cemetery, Romiley, Cheshire. For those wishing to join in the Mass the live stream link is;
