Sister Josephine Shiels
Sister Josephine Shiels, 11th March 2023, peacefully, at Abbey Haven Nursing Home, Carrick Road, Boyle, Co. Roscommon. Late of the Convents of Mercy in Ballaghaderreen and Gurteen, formerly of Corhober, Ballymote, Co. Sligo. Predeceased by her sister Sr. Kathleen.
Rest In Peace.
Deeply regretted by her sisters Bridie (Berreen) Derroon, Nancy (Walker) Scotland, Sr. Attracta and Rose (Rouse) Ballina, her brothers Michael (Corhober) and Paddy (U.S.A.) , brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, The Sisters of Mercy (Western Province), relatives, neighbours and many friends.
Sister Josephine will repose at the Perry Funeral Home, Ballymote (F56 TK20) on Monday 13th of March from 5 P.M. to 6.30 P.M. Followed by removal to the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Ballymote to arrive at 7 P.M. Mass of the Resurrection on Tuesday at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in St. Columba's Cemetery, Ballymote.
