Sonia (Pardeep) Byrne

It is with deep sadness and regret that we annouce the passing of Sonia (Pardeep) Byrne. Much beloved wife of Seán, much adored mother of Lyla, cherished daughter of Baljit and her late mother Ermelita, loving sister to Sunny and sister in law Nicole, auntie to Ziggy and Eddie and loving godmother to Lewis.

 

Sonia will be will be forever loved and missed also by her aunts and uncles, mother-in-law Jacqueline and father-in-law Francis, brother-in-law Liam, sisters-in-law, Sinead and Aislinn and her wider family, neighbours, former colleagues from St James' Hospital and the Bon Secours Hospital in Glasnevin.

 

Sonia's family would like to acknowledge and give thanks to all Sonia's friends and neighbours, all the staff in St. James Hospital A&E department, all the staff on the Cherry Ward, and the Ambulance Crew from Dublin Fire Brigade. All the staff attached to St. Vincents Ward in the Mater Misercordiate Hospital in Dublin, Doctors, nurses, care attendants, porters, kitchen staff and all who looked after Sonia during her time there. We are so grateful for all the amazing work, care and support everyone provided to Sonia and family.

 

A celebration of Sonia's life will take place in Pure Reflections Resomarium on the 10th September at 11am followed by a Private Resomation. The family wish to invite any friends and neighbours who wish to attend the Service. If you are unable to attend, the Service can be viewed live on the link below.
