Sonnie (Denis) Quirke

Sonnie passed peacefully from this life on Friday 29th January, in the loving care of his family. Predeceased by his wife Mary and son Denny. He will be deeply missed by his daughter Mary, son Seanie, daughter in law June, granddaughter Shannon, grandsons Cathal, Liam and Niall, brother Tom, sister in law Bid (Williams), brothers in law Seán and Brend (Lynch). nieces, nephews, relatives, extended family, neighbours and friends.

In keeping with HSE, NPHET and Public Health guidelines, attendance at funerals is limited. Please respect the privacy of the family during this difficult time. A private Mass will be celebrated for the repose of Sonnie's soul with immediate family only on Monday 1st February at 12 o'clock in St. Laurence's Church, Tynagh. For those who would have liked to attend the Mass but cannot due to the current restrictions, Sonnie's Mass will be streamed on the following LINK Sonnie will be laid to rest in Tynagh Cemetery, beside his loving wife Mary, immediately afterwards.

Sonnie's cortège will leave his home at 11:15am, making its way to St. Laurence's Church. Family, friends and neighbours are invited, if they wish, to stand at their gates or line the route, as a mark of support to the family. Please maintain the respect of social distance for each other as directed by HSE and Public Health.

In keeping with current restrictions funerals are limited in numbers to immediate family only. Please feel free to express your sympathies and support for the family in Sonnie's condolence pages at the bottom of this notice. Family flowers only by request.
