Who passed away peacefully, in the loving care of Clarinbridge Care Centre, Craughwell, on Wednesday 7th January 2026.

 

Predeceased by her mother Rose and father Stanny.

 

Sr. Alexis will be fondly remembered by her brothers Stanny (Abbey), Noel (Celbridge) and Ulick (Abbey), sisters-in-law Olive, Nuala and Meave, the Sisters of Mercy, Loughrea and Western Branch, especially her dear friend Sr. Bridie Carty, her nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, cousins, relatives, colleagues in St. Brendan’s Home, neighbours and friends.

 

Sr. Alexis will lie in repose in Kilboy’s Funeral Home, Loughrea (H62 KF63) on Friday 9th January from 5pm to 7pm, followed by removal to St. Brendan’s Cathedral, Loughrea.

 

Sr. Alexis’s Requiem Mass will take place in St. Brendan’s Cathedral, Loughrea, on Saturday 10th January at 11am, followed by burial in the Convent Cemetery, Loughrea.
