Sr Anne Marie of The Sisters of Charity of Our Lady of Evron, Stockport and formerly of Currihy, Lislevane, Co Cork, passed away peacefully in her 97th year, after a brief illness in the loving care of the Little Sisters of the Poor, Stockport on the 12th of September.

Predeceased by her parents Timothy and Eileen, her brothers Michael, Donal and Teddy, sisters Eileen, Kathleen, Nora, Peggy, Nan and Breeda.

Sr Anne Marie is deeply regretted and fondly remembered by her Evron Community, her brother John Joe (London), sisters Tessie Buckley (Athlacca, Co Limerick) and Philly Greenwell (Sunderland, UK), her brother-in-law, sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, past pupils and many friends.

Sr Anne Marie will repose at St Bernadette's church Brinnington on Tuesday the 7th October from 4pm. Her funeral Mass will be celebrated in St Bernadette's church Brinnington on Wednesday 8th October at 11am, followed by burial in Romiley cemetery.
