The death has occurred of
Sr. Annette McHugh
Sr. Annette McHugh, Mullaghmore, Moylough, Co. Galway. Sisters of the Holy Spirit San Antonio.
Sister Annette slipped peacefully into the arms of God, she loved and served for 72 years on Oct 27th 2025. Predeceased by her parents John & Ellen, Brothers Mickie and Jack, Sisters Nora Challoner, Sr. Rose, Sr. Angela, Brother in-law Willie Challoner, Sister in-law Annie McHugh.
Sr. Annette will forever be in the heart of her sister, Sr. Magdalene (Dublin) cherished and much loved by her niece and nephews of the McHugh and Challoner families.
May her kind and gentle soul rest in peace
A rosary mass will be recited on Friday Oct 31st at 9am (2pm Irish time) in the mother house chapel, 300 Yucca Street, San Antonio TX 78203. The mass of Christian burial will follow. She will be buried in the sister of the Holy Spirit Cemetery.
