Sr. Attracta McCarthy
McCARTHY (Arus Muire, Clonakilty / Clonakilty Community Hospital (Mount Carmel): on November 7th 2023 peacefully at Arus Muire, in the care of her Mercy Family and in the tender care of Dr. Murray, Public Health and West Cork Palliative Care Teams and Bon Secours Cork, Palliative Care Team. SR. ATTRACTA daughter of the late Timothy and Margaret, sister of the late Joe, Fr. Anthony, Donal and Sr. Frances. Much loved and fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews Natalie, Helen Frances, John Paul, Orna, Attracta, Donogh, Evin, Conor, Colm and all her grandnieces, grandnephews, the Sisters and Staff in Arus Muire, the Mercy Congregation, relatives and friends.
Reposing in O’Sullivan’s Funeral Home, Clonakilty on Thursday, November 9th 2023 from 7.15pm with Prayers at 8.15pm. Requiem Mass on Friday, November 10th 2023 at 1pm in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Clonakilty. This will be livestreamed via www.clonakiltyparish.ie/live. Funeral afterwards to St. Mary’s Cemetery, Clonakilty.
