Sr. Bernadette (Fay) Cotter
Cotter, Sr. Bernadette (Fay) – Poor Clare Monastery, College Road, Cork: On Wednesday January 31st 2024 in the wonderful care of the Bon Secours Hospital Sisters, doctors and staff, Sr. Bernadette, beloved sister of Páraic, Edmund, Robert, Michael and Anne, dear ‘Aunty Fay’ of Anne, Kieran, Jennie, Patricia, Richard, Claire, Robert, Kevin, Niall, Gillian, Brian and Laura.
Sr. Bernadette will be deeply mourned by her Poor Clare Community, the Poor Clares of the Irish and Scottish Federation of which she was the current President, the Franciscan Friars, her brothers, sister, nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, sisters-in-law Peggie, Marian, Mary and Marian, her many friends and former colleagues.
Reposing in the Bon Secours Chapel of Rest on Thursday, February 1st, 5.00pm – 7.00pm followed by reception of the body and prayers in the Poor Clare Monastery Chapel. Funeral Mass in the Poor Clare Monastery Chapel on Friday, February 2nd at 11.00am which will be live-streamed on www.mycondolences.ie followed by burial in the Poor Clare Cemetery.
