Sr. Bernardine (Bríd) Morrisroe
Stella Maria, Galway and Corofin, Co. Galway
Sr. Bernardine died peacefully in the loving care of the staff at St. Patrick’s Ward, UHG on January 16th 2026 surrounded by her community and family. Predeceased by her parents Tom and Gertrude (Regan), her sisters Sr. Mary, (Little Company of Mary) and Evelyn (Connolly). Deeply regretted and fondly remembered by the Sisters of Mercy in Stella Maria and the Western Branch, her brother Tomás and his wife Eileen, her nephew Seán and her grandnephews Matthew and Adam, her brother-in-law Seamus Connolly and her many friends in Ireland and San Diego.

Reposing in Stella Maria (H91 XY93) on January 20th (Tuesday) from 3.30pm to 5pm. Arrival on January 21st (Wednesday) at Cathedral of the Assumption, Tuam (H54 WP66), for Mass of the Resurrection at 11.30am . Burial afterwards in the Convent Cemetery, Tuam.
