The death has occurred of
SR. BRENDA MARY KENNEDY
Kennedy (St. Maries of the Isle, Cork, Passage West and Tralee) On March 20th 2026, Sr. Brenda Mary (Sister of Mercy), (in her 91st year), peacefully in the care of the staff of Bon Secours Care Village, Mount Desert. Daughter of the late Con and Anne. Predeceased by her brothers Fr. Michael (SMA), Fr. Tom (SMA), Bernard and Aidan, sister Carmel and her beloved nephew David. Deeply regretted by her sisters Honor, Nancy and Gráinne, brothers Neilus and Eoin, brother-in-law Pat, sisters-in-law Timina and Clarie, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, Mercy Sisters Southern Branch, extended relatives and friends.
May she rest in peace.
Reposing at St. Maries of the Isle Convent Chapel on Sunday (22nd) from 3.00pm until prayers at 5.00pm. Requiem Mass on Tuesday (24th) at 12.00noon in St. John’s Church, Castle Street, Tralee which may be viewed on Link Here funeral afterwards to Old Rath Cemetery, Tralee.
