Sr. Carmel Doran

DORAN, Sr. Carmel (RSM - Sisters of Mercy), Cairns, Australia, and formerly of Douglas, Co. Cork, Ireland, died peacefully on 10th August 2025. Daughter of the late Patrick and Kathleen Doran, eldest sister of Maureen (Philpott) RIP, Eileen (O'Connor) RIP and Thomas.

Remembered fondly by Thomas, sister-in-law Philomena, brother-in-law Nicholas, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends to many, both here in Ireland and Australia.

 

The funeral will take place in Australia on Tuesday, 19th August 2025, at 9:30 am AEST (12:30 am IST) at Mercy Place (Bethlehem) Chapel, 257 Gatton Street, Westcourt. The burial will be at the Martyn Street Cemetery, Cairns, Western Plaque Section, approximately at 11 am AEST
