The death has occurred of
Sr. Carmel Murphy L.S.A
Murphy, Sr Carmel, Little Sister of the Assumption (Dublin and late of Fassaroe, Co Wicklow) in the exceptional care of the staff in Marian House Nursing Home, Glasnevin. 6th January 2026. Sr. Carmel will be fondly remembered by her cousins, friends and her community of Little Sisters of the Assumption. Sr. Carmel is predeceased by her parents, John and Mary and by her brothers Paddy and Seán.
May her gentle, generous and kind spirit rest in peace.
Sr. Carmel’s repose will take place on Sunday (January 11th) in the Assumption Convent, Mount Argus Road, Dublin D6W ED60 from 4pm until 6pm, with prayers at 5.45pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11.30am on Monday morning in the Church of St.Paul of the Cross, Mount Argus, Harold’s Cross followed by burial in Dardistown Cemetery.
