Sr. Christina Crowe

The death has occurred of Sr. Christina Crowe, Holy Cross Convent, The Grange Gerrards Cross and formerly of Brierfield, Ballinasloe, Co Galway. Sr. Christina passed away peacefully in her 94th year in the loving care of her wonderful carers and community on 25th July 2025. Predeceased by her parents, Martin and Margaret Crowe, her brothers, Mark and his wife Madge, Mattie, Fr. Paddy, Séan, and Fr. Tom, her sisters, Mae and her husband Paddy Mannion, Julia and her husband Frank Garvey, Della and her husband Ray Connolly, Ita and her husband Paddy Collins.

Deeply mourned and fondly remembered by her loving brother Anthony and her treasured sister-in-law Mary, The Holy Cross Sisters community, her cousins, nieces, nephews, nieces-in-law, nephews-in-law, grand nieces, grandnephews and great grandnieces.

Rest In Peace

Sr. Christina will repose in Mannion’s Funeral Home, Abbeyknockmoy on Saturday 9th August from 7pm to 8pm. Funeral mass for Sr. Christina will take place in St. Bernards Church, Abbeyknockmoy on Sunday 10th August at 10:30am.
