Sr. Clare Fennell

Fennell (Convent of Mercy, Winters Hill, Kinsale and late of Delray Beach, Florida and Rocky Bay, Minane Bridge) died peacefully at Haven Bay Care Centre, Kinsale on Saturday November 11th 2023. Sr. Clare, daughter of the late Michael and Mary Fennell, sister of the late Fr. Liam O.Carm, Michael and John Patrick and sister-in-law of the late Patrick Kelleher.

Deeply regretted by her sister Kathleen Kelleher, her nieces Helen Lalor and Marion Morrissy, her nephew Fergus, and their families, her Mercy Community in Kinsale, Sisters in the Southern Province, and friends both in Ireland and Florida.

Sr. Clare will be lying in repose at Gabriel and O'Donovan's Funeral Home, Kinsale on Monday from 5.30pm to 6.30pm followed by prayers.

Requiem Mass on Tuesday (14th November) at 11am in St. John the Baptist Church, Kinsale, after which Sr. Clare will be laid to rest in St. Eltin's Cemetery, Kinsale. The Funeral Mass may be viewed online by following the link: www.churchservices.tv/kinsale
