The death has occurred of
Sr. Edith Catherine Prendergast RSC
Prendergast, (Cappoquin, Co. Waterford and Los Angeles, California) on April 1, 2026, in the loving care of St. John of God Retirement and Care Center in Los Angeles, Sr. Edith Catherine RSC. Formely of Dromrue East, Cappoquin. Predeceased by her father Richard, mother Catherine, brother Michael, sisters Eileen (Finn) and Mary (Buckley).
Sadly missed by her community of the Religious Sisters of Charity, her brothers, Jim and Pat, sister in laws Nellie and Eileen, and her loving nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews and her many friends.
Requiem Mass on Monday April 27, at 10am (California time) at the Cathedral of Our Lady Queen of the Angels, Los Angeles, which will be livestreamed on: olacathedral.org/sister-edith Burial at 2.30pm at Holy Cross Cemetery in Culver City.
Mass at St. John the Baptist Church, Affane, on Saturday May 2, at 11am.
