The death has occurred of
Sr. EMMANUEL (MARGARET) O'SULLIVAN
O’Sullivan (Convent of Mercy, Schull and Bantry and late of Laharanshermeen, Bantry) On July 2nd 2025, after a short illness in Mount Desert Care Village, Sr. Emmanuel (Margaret), daughter of the late Richard and Mary Kate. Predeceased by her brothers Matt and his wife Margaret and Christy and his wife Nora. Sadly missed by her sister Marie (Collins) (Ballincollig), brothers Finbarr (Dunmanway) and John (Killarney). sisters-in-law Kathleen and Susan and Maria’s partner Tony, nieces, Edel, Lisa, Susan, Clare, Fiona and Margaret, nephews Shane, James, Kieran, Damian, Sean, Finbarr and John Paul, grandnieces, grandnephews, Mercy Sisters Southern Branch, extended relatives and her many friends.

Reposing at Coakleys Funeral Home, Chapel Street, Bantry (P75 YW58) on Friday (4th) from 4.00pm until 5.30pm with Vigil Prayers at 5.30pm. Requiem Mass on Saturday (5th) at 11.30am in St. Finbarr’s Church Bantry which may be viewed on Link Here Funeral afterwards to The Abbey Cemetery.
