Sr. Ethna SWAN O.P.
SWAN, Sr. Ethna, Dominican Convent, Sion Hill, Blackrock, Co. Dublin on 25th January 2026; (peacefully) at Santa Sabina House Nursing Home. Daughter of the late Michael and Sarah (née Healy) Swan of Lobinstown, Co. Meath. Predeceased by her brothers Fr. Colum, Leo, Brendan and sister Nuala. Mourned deeply by her brothers Desmond and Kevin, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, her Dominican Community and extended family and friends.
Rest in Peace.
Reposing at Dominican Convent Sion Hill on from 3.00 – 7.00pm on Tuesday. Prayers at 5.00 p.m. Requiem Mass in the Church of Our Lady of the Assumption, Booterstown Avenue at 11.00a.m. on Wednesday, 28th January, 2026, followed by burial at the convent cemetery.
