Sr. Ita Hannaway
Hannaway, (Columban Sisters), Sr. Ita, formerly Lislea, Newry, Co. Armagh, Philippines and Ireland. December 24th 2025, in the loving care of the Sisters and staff at Loughshinny Residential Home. Predeceased by her parents Patrick and Rose, brothers Michael, Brian, Pat, Malachy and Eugene, her sisters Sr. Mary Colombiere, Sally (Rowntree), Brighid and Margaret. Dearly missed by her nieces, nephews, their families, her sister-in-law, Sally and Columban Sisters community worldwide.
Rest in peace
Funeral Mass will take place on Sunday, 28th December, at 11.30am in the Convent Chapel, Magheramore, Wicklow, followed by burial in the Convent Cemetery. The Mass will be recorded and available to view from 6pm on Sunday, link to follow.
