The death has occurred of
Sr. Magdalen Sexton
Sr. Magdalen Sexton, Convent of Mercy, Callan, Co. Kilkenny and formerly of Clonadrum, Mullagh, Co. Clare.
Peacefully, in her 98th year, in the loving care of the management and staff at The Oak Ward, University Hospital, Waterford on Wednesday, 28th February 2024.
Pre-deceased by her brother Joe and her niece Mairead.
Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving family, her sisters, Sr. Clare (Callan) and Sr. Mercy (Carrick-on-Suir), her brother TJ, sister-in-law Colette, nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews, relatives, The Sisters of Mercy, Callan and the Southern Province and friends.

Reposing in The Convent Chapel, Callan, on Thursday, 29th February, from 4pm concluding with Evening Prayer at 6pm. Requiem Mass in The Convent Chapel on Friday, 1st March at 11am, followed by burial in Kilbride Cemetery, Callan.
