Sr. Margaret Mary COONEY
Sr. Margaret Mary Cooney ('Villa Maria', Talbot's Inch, Freshford Road, Kilkenny and late of Basket Hill, Pallasgreen, Co. Limerick) 3rd of February 2026 (following a long illness bravely borne) in the Barrow Ward, St. Luke's Hopital, Kilkenny. Predeceased by her parents Patrick and Annie, her sisters Patsy (McGrath) and Kathleen (Heffernan), nieces Breda (Ryan) and Anne Marie (Carroll). Sr. Margaret Mary will be inconsolably missed by her sister Nancy (Ryan), her beloved nieces and nephews, brother-in-law Liam, The Sisters of Mercy, 'Villa Maria' and the Southern Branch.

Reposing at 'Villa Maria', Talbot's Inch R95 KC9R on Wednesday (4th Feb.) from 2p.m. concluding with Evening Prayer at 5.30p.m. Funeral Mass on Thursday at 10.30a.m. in St. Canice's Church, Dean Street followed by burial in Kilbride Cemetery, Callan, Co. Kilkenny.
