Sr. Margaret Mary Dempsey
Sr. Margaret Mary Dempsey, Cuan Chaitriona, Castlebar, formerly Mercy Convent, Westport and from Lisalondoon, Craughwell, Co. Galway, died peacefully, on Sunday night February 16th, in the loving care of the staff of Cuan Chaitriona Nursing Home. Predeceased by her brothers Paddy, William and JJ, her sisters Nancy and Madie, niece Mary and nephew Pat and baby John. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her brother Mickey (Craughwell), sisters Sr. Angela (Loughrea) and Noreen Flaherty (Gort), sisters-in-law Bernie and Teresa, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, great-grandnieces/nephews, cousins, friends and the Sisters of Mercy Western Province.
Reposing at Navin's Funeral Home, Mill Street, Westport on Tuesday, February 18th, from 4.00pm to 5.30pm followed by removal to Westport Parish Church arriving there at 6pm. Funeral Mass in Church of the Immaculate Conception, Kilconieron, Athenry, Co. Galway, H91NH59 on Wednesday, February 19th, at 12 noon, followed by burial in Kilconieron Cemetery
