The death has occurred of
Sr. Margaret Moran
Sr. Margaret Moran, South Korea and Caherlistrane, Co. Galway, 11th July 2021. Missionary Sister of St. Columban, Chuncheon, South Korea and formerly of Killamanagh, Caherlistrane, Co. Galway. Sr. Margaret died, peacefully, in the loving care of her Columban sisters in Chuncheon, following a short illness. Deeply regretted and lovingly remembered by her siblings Mary, Michael and Joe (Caherlistrane), John (Claremorris), Anne (Perth, Australia), her nieces, nephews, extended family, Columban sisters and members of her immediate Korean community, neighbours and friends.
Sr. Margaret's funeral Mass has taken place earlier today in Juklimdong Cathedral in South Korea.
A memorial Mass for Sr. Margaret will take place at 12 noon on Friday 16th July 2021 in the Church of Mary Immaculate and St. Joseph, Caherlistrane, Co. Galway.
In line with current Government guidelines, the memorial Mass can have up to 50 family and friends in attendance. Due to restrictions on numbers attending the Mass, people are invited to leave a message of condolence below and view the Mass live on www.churchtv.ie/caherlistrane.
