Sr Marie Looby
The death has occurred of Sr Marie Looby, Presentation Convent, Clonmel, Co.Tipperary and Tullovin, Banogue, Croom, Co. Limerick, February 27th 2026. Peacefully in the care of the staff at Sonas, Melview Nursing Home, Clonmel. Predeceased by her parents Mai and Michael, her brothers Fr Ned, Paddy, Jack and Michael. Sr Marie, will be sadly missed by her Presentation Sisters, her sister Kathleen, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, and her many faithful friends.
May she rest in peace.
Reposing at the Presentation Convent, Clonmel this Sunday afternoon (March 1st) from 2.30 o'clock. Removal on Monday morning (2nd March) to St Mary's Church, Irishtown for Requiem Mass on arrival at 12 noon followed by interment in the Convent cemetery. Those that would like to leave a message of sympathy may do so in the condolence section below.
