The death has occurred of
Sr. Martina Tierney
Of the Carmelite community in New Ross and Fayoum Carmel in Egypt, and formerly of Columban Missionaries Magheramore. Predeceased by her parents Martin and Mary Tierney, and brothers James, Michael, and Fr. Peter. (Peacefully) in the wonderful care of the staff at St. Mary’s nursing home, Shantalla, Galway. Deeply regretted by her sisters Bridie (O’Grady), Nora (McDermott), Kathleen (Mullins), Teresa (Callaghan) and Ann (Delaney), her brothers, Noel and Seán, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, extended families and friends.
May she rest in peace.
Reposing at Glynn’s Funeral Home, High St., Tuam on Tuesday evening from 6.00 pm to 7.00 pm followed by removal to St Joseph's Church, Milltown. Funeral mass Wednesday at 12 midday, followed by burial at Kilgeverin Cemetery.
