The death has occurred of
Sr. Mary Annunciata Flanagan
Sr. Mary Annunciata Flanagan, Convent of Mercy, Callan, Co. Kilkenny and formerly of Mullingar, Co. Westmeath.
Peacefully, in her 89th year, in the loving care of The Staff at St. Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny on Thursday, 2nd October 2025.
Pre-deceased by her parents William and Mary, her sister Pauline, her brothers Bill, Jim, Paddy and Ron, and her niece Mary and her nephew Michael.
Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her sisters-in-law Judy and Jill, her nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, The Sisters of Mercy, Callan and The Southern Region and friends.

Reposing at The Convent Chapel, Villa Maria, Talbots Inch, Kilkenny (Eircode R95 KC9R), on Friday, 3rd October from 4pm to 7pm pausing for Evening Prayer at 6pm.
Funeral arriving to The Church of the Assumption, Callan for Requiem Mass on Saturday, 4th October at 11am.
Burial will follow afterwards in Kilbride Cemetery, Callan.
