The death has occurred of
Sr. Mary Dymphna Dineen DMJ
Dineen (Kilbrittain, Co. Cork and Kent, England) on February 20th 2026, in Kent, in the loving care of her Community of Sisters, in her 95th year. Sr. Mary Dymphna DMJ, formerly of Ballymore, Kilbrittain. Predeceased by her parents Catherine (nee Murphy) and Bartholomew Dineen, and her sisters Kay Reynolds-Eley, Joan Crowley and Margaret Hurley.
Sadly missed by her Community of Daughters of Mary and Joseph, her nieces and nephews Dan, Rita and Artie Hurley, Mary, Ann, Vincent and Paddy Crowley, Maureen, Bernard and Paul Reynolds (UK), grandnieces and grandnephews, cousins, neighbours, friends in Ireland and England.
Sr. Mary will be lying in repose at Gabriel and O'Donovan's Funeral Home, Bandon (eircode P72WE20) on Thursday (12th March) from 6pm followed by Prayers at 7pm.
Requiem Mass on Friday (13th) at 12 noon in St. Patrick's Church, Kilbrittain which will be live-streamed on www.corklivestream.com/funerals, after which Sr. Mary will be laid to rest in the adjoining Cemetery.
