Sr. Mary McAuliffe

McAuliffe (Convent of Mercy, Winters Hill, Kinsale, Co. Cork and late of Newtownshandrum, Co. Cork) died peacefully at Convent of Mercy, Winters Hill, Kinsale, Co. Cork on Wednesday August 21st 2024. Sr. Mary, daughter of the late John and Catherine McAuliffe.

Deeply regretted by her brothers Timmy (Clonmel), Jerry (Listowel), sister Eileen (O’Mullane, Ballygarvan), sisters-in-law Vivien and Lucy, brother-in-law Denis, nieces and nephews and their families, her cousins, her Mercy Community in Kinsale, Sisters in the Southern Province, and her many friends.

Sr. Mary will be lying in repose at Gabriel and O’Donovan’s Funeral Home, Kinsale (eircode P17WC61) on Friday 23rd August from 5pm – 6.30pm, followed by prayers.  

Requiem Mass on Saturday 24th August at 11.00am in St. John the Baptist Church, Kinsale which will be livestreamed on www.churchservices.tv/kinsale, after which Sr. Mary will be laid to rest in St. Eltin’s Cemetery, Kinsale.
