Sr. MARY O'REGAN

Sr. MARY O’REGAN (Poor Servants of the Mother of God, St Aloysius’ Convent, Carrigtwohill, Co. Cork and formerly of Kilkilleen, Church Cross, Skibbereen and Mounteen, Ballinascarthy).

Mary passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, in Clonakilty Community Hospital on June 21st 2025, under the excellent care of the staff on Crìonna Ward and Dr. Yvonne Hayes.

Loving sister of Michael Stephen and the late Sr Immaculata R.S.M. (Eileen).

Sr Mary will be sadly missed by her community of the Poor Servants of The Mother of God Sisters and her family, sister-in-law Mary, nieces and nephews Colette, Eileen, John, Teddy and Stephen and their spouses Piotr, Tim, Maria and Claire.

She will also be sadly missed by her loving grandnieces and nephews whom she cherished dearly, Nicole, Rachel, Aoife, Catharine, Jack, Michael and Daniel, relatives and friends.

Sr. Mary devoted her whole life to her faith and as a Poor Servant of the Mother of God, to the service of the Poor. She passed away on the 150th anniversary of the PSMG in Carrigtwohill.

Reposing at Foley’s Funeral Home, South Square, Clonakilty P85NN60 on Tuesday June 24th from 6pm to Prayers at 7.30 p.m.

Requiem Mass at 3pm on Wednesday June 25th in St. Mary’s Church, Carrigtwohill followed by burial in the SMG plot in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Carrigtwohill.
