Sr. Maura Fay

Sr. Maura Fay, Dún Mhuire, Lyster St., Athlone, Co. Westmeath; formerly Convent of Mercy, Ballymahon, Co. Longford, and Collinstown, Co. Westmeath. Unexpectedly but peacefully on Thursday 6th June 2024 at Dún Mhuire. Predeceased by her parents Michael and Frances, and brothers Michael and Fr. Sean. Deeply regretted by her sister Olive Carey (Killucan), her nieces and nephews Michael Fay, Sean Fay, Maura Galvin, David Carey, Deirdre Tiernan and Linda Carey, grandnieces, grandnephews, relatives, friends, and the Sisters of Mercy Western Province.

Sr. Maura will repose this Saturday, 8th June, in St. Matthew's Church, Ballymahon, from 5.30 p.m. with prayers at 7.30 p.m. Mass of the Resurrection is Sunday at 11.30 a.m. Burial will take place at the Convent Cemetery in Ballymahon.
