Sr. Mona Saunders

Sr. Mona Saunders, Convent of Mercy, Callan, Co. Kilkenny and formerly of Convent of Mercy, Thomastown.

Peacefully, in the loving care of the management and staff at Gowran Abbey Nursing Home, Kilkenny on Wednesday, 6th September 2023.

Pre-deceased by her brothers Fr. Seán (Ennis) and Francis, and her sister Sr. Marie Thérèse.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving family, her sisters Sr. Assumpta, Callan and Eva Rahilly, Quinn, Co. Clare, her nieces, grand nephews, grand nieces, the Sisters of Mercy, Callan and the Southern Province and her friends.

Ar dheis lámh Dé go raibh a hanam dhílis.

Reposing in The Convent Chapel, Callan on Friday, 8th September from 5pm concluding with Evening Prayer at 7pm. Requiem Mass in The Convent Chapel on Saturday, 9th September at 11am, followed by burial in Kilbride Cemetery, Callan.
