Sr Monica (Mary) passed away peacefully surrounded by family and her community, in the excellent care of the staff of Milford Care Centre, on 1st April 2024.

Pre-deceased by her parents Lawrence and Ellie May, brothers Fr. Michael (OSA) and Lawrence, sisters Peggy and Eileen (infant) and nephew Kieran. Sadly missed by her brothers John and Fr. Tom (OSA), sisters-in-law Betty and Joan, adored nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, relatives and friends. Sr. Monica’s loss will be deeply felt by her Good Shepherd Sisters in Ireland and India.

Reposing at Good Shepherd Sister’s Chapel, Pennywell Road, Limerick (Eircode: V94 NFH9) on Tuesday, 2nd April from 4pm to 6pm. Funeral arriving at St. John’s Cathedral, on Wednesday, 3rd April for Requiem Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in St. Catherine’s Cemetery, Kilcully, Cork. (Eircode: T23 HP30) Arriving at 1.30pm approx.
