The death has occurred of
SR. NANCY KIERNAN
KIERNAN, (Sisters of Mercy, Sharman Crawford Street, Cork) On April 5th 2026, peacefully in the loving care of the Staff at the Bon Secours Care Village, Mount Desert Sr. Nancy Kiernan. Predeceased by her parents Jim and Kate, brother Christy and sisters Molly, Kitty and Gerty. Deeply regretted by her brother James, sister-in-law Lily, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, extended family, her Mercy community and the Sisters of Mercy Southern Branch.

Reposing at St. Maries of the Isle Convent Chapel on Tuesday (7th) from 3.00pm concluding with Evening Prayer at 5.00pm. Requiem Mass on Wednesday (8th) at 11.00am in St. Maries of the Isle, Convent Chapel which may be viewed on Link Here followed by burial in St James’s Cemetery, Chetwynd.
