Mercy Convent, Rosanna, Tipperary town and late of Ballinguile, Buttevant.

Sr. Nora died peacefully at University Hospital Clonmel on Thursday, December 25th, 2025.

Predeceased by her sisters, Sr. Ellen and Sr. Elizabeth (of the Mercy Sisters, Limerick), Mary (O’Sullivan), and brother-in-law William.

Deeply regretted by her nieces Gerarda, Eilish and Dolores, nephews-in-law, grandnephews, grandniece, Sisters of Mercy, Tipperary and South Central Branch, former teaching colleagues at St. Anne’s secondary school, Tipperary town, relatives and friends.

Reposing on Sunday, December 28th in the Mercy Convent, Rosanna, Tipperary town (E34 FF68) from 2:30pm with Prayers at 4:00pm.

Requiem Mass on Monday morning in St. Michael’s parish Church, Tipperary town at 10:15am.

Funeral afterwards to St. Brigid’s Cemetery, Buttevant, Co. Cork (arriving approx.: 12:30 – 1pm).

Sr. Nora’s community and family would like to thank Mary O’Connor and staff at the Acorn Lodge nursing home, Cashel for the wonderful care they gave to Nora during the past five years.
