The death has occurred of
Sr. Philomena O'Sullivan
O'Sullivan, (Columban Sisters), Sr. Philomena, formerly Currabower, Lombardstown, Co. Cork, Korea, England and Ireland, October 13th 2025, in the loving care of the Sisters and staff at Loughshinny Residential Home. Predeceased by her parents Eugene and Ciss, brother Owen, her sisters Margaret (Sr. Mildred), Anna (Sr. Elizabeth), Maureen and Therese, nephews Eugene and Barry and grand-nephews Robert and Michael. Much loved, Sr. Philomena will be dearly missed by her sister Frances, brothers Pat and Don, sisters-in-law Mary Evelyn and Mary, nieces, nephews, extended family and a wide circle of friends and Columban Sisters worldwide.
Rest in peace
Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday, 15th October, at 11.30am in the Convent Chapel, Magheramore, Wicklow, followed by burial in the Convent Cemetery. A recording of the Mass can be viewed via the link below.
