Sr. Rita Conway

 

The death has occurred of Sr. Rita Conway, 25th May 2024, Árd Bhríde, Castlebar, Co. Mayo, peacefully, at Cuan Chaitriona, Castlebar.

 

Formerly of Convents of Mercy Ballina, Belmullet and Ballycastle and 35 Amana Estate, Ballina. Late of Drumslide, Ballycroy, Co. Mayo.

 

Reunited in her heavenly home with her parents, Mike and Bridgie and her sister Bridgie-Mary.

 

Deeply regretted by her brothers, John and Jim, her sisters Catherine and Julia, brothers in law, Tom Lynch & Jim Hegarty & sisters in law Rose & Ann,

 

nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, relatives and friends, Sisters of Mercy, Árd Bhríde and the Western Province.

Sr. Rita will lie in repose at McGowan’s Funeral Home, Ballina, this Monday evening (27th May) from 5.00pm with removal to St. Patrick’s Church, Ballina at 6:30pm

 

Funeral Mass will take place in St. Patrick’s Church, Ballina on Tuesday (28th May) at 12 noon

 

Followed by burial in the Convent Cemetery, Ballina.
